Inquisitor’s Palace – Cardinals’ Hall

The Inquisitor’s Palace, situated in the heart of Vittoriosa, is one of the very few surviving palaces of its kind and the only inquisitorial palace still presented as such and made accessible to the public. Many of these palaces simply succumbed to the ravages of time or were victims of the reactionary powers unleashed by the French Revolution. Fortunately, throughout its 500 years of history the Maltese Inquisitor’s Palace hosted high-ranking officials whose taste is reflected in an architectural gem, spanning centuries and styles – a remarkable palatial setting which is now open to the public as a museum and can serve as a unique sophisticated backdrop for your exclusive events.
